Marilyn Bonner- Director/Teacher


My name is Marilyn Bonner and I am the Director at Small Wonders Nursery and Day Care Inc.  I also teach the older three year old group. 

I have been with Small Wonders Nursery and Day Care Inc. for thirty-four years, thru September, 2017.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhode Island College in 1976.  I have been working with pre-schoolers since 1980.

I am very proud of the dedication and hard work the staff at Small Wonders gives to our children.  I enjoy working with the children and their families and hope to continue for some time.

Dianne McConnell- Teacher


My name is Dianne McConnell. I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood education in 1989.

I am also certified to teach infants, toddlers and pre-school children, as well as Director 1 and 2 qualified.

I began teaching at Small Wonders in 1986 while attending college.  After college, I substituted in the Swansea school system.  I also worked at several pre-schools in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

I have 2 teenage sons, both whom have graduated from Small Wonders.  They keep me very busy with their sports activities, soccer and basketball, within the community. (Go Case )

In 2011 I returned teaching at Small Wonders and I am currently the 3 year old classroom teacher. I love teaching, especially the younger children.  It gives me great joy watching the children learn and grow.

Lauren Couto- Teacher


My name is Lauren Couto.  I began at Small Wonders in 2008 as a Teachers Assistant.  In September of 2014, I became the teacher of the 5 year old classroom.  I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in History.  I am also certified by the Massachusetts Early Education and Care department as a Pre-School teacher.

Nicole Feno- Teachers Assistant

My name is Nicole Feno, and I began working at Small Wonders in 2016 as a Teachers Assistant.  I mainly work in the three year old classroom.  I have previously worked at Espirito Santo School as a Pre-K Teachers Assistant, Amaral's Bus Company as a bus monitor for grades K-5, and at Chace School as a Recess/Lunchroom Monitor.
